(News to me... - promoted by Dean Barker)

Breaking news, at least to me, on my Facebook:

DeJoie for Congress (Exploratory Committee)

Thank you for taking the time to visit our site. As I consider running for the 2nd Congressional District seat for New Hamphsire, I have reached out to many of you. The support I have received has been humbling. I am continuing to call people across New Hampshire, asking for your support one by one.

Things are a heatin' up!

John DeJoie Is A... (4.00 / 2)
John DeJoie is a real class act in the New Hampshire Legislature.  He didn't have to think too long or too much to know that it was important to publicly support House Bills 415 and 436 for transgender protections and marriage equality.  He made a difference on both bills, and knew instinctively the right choice.

I would prefer not to see us lose him in the New Hampshire House, but with the other good candidates thinking of running for CD 2, he'd be a great addition from which to choose.

[I'm a former has-been House member and State Senator, but I keep "Rep." on my ID name for easy reference of previous posts.]

But remember (4.00 / 3)
Service in Washington DC is really just a steppingstone to the General Court now.

Well, I'm hoping to see (4.00 / 2)
more of John in the upcoming weeks. I also look forward to hearing from the other interested candidates.

We need someone who will be as strong an advocate for NH's working people in the House as Hodes and Shea-Porter are.

John DeJoie (0.00 / 0)
John DeJoie has been a great advocate in the Legislature for New Hampshire's children and families.  In my roles both as an educator and human services professional I have been fortunate enough to have spent time with John and have come to know him as a man of great character and integrity.  I believe he would make an excellent candidate for the 2nd District Congressional seat!
