NRSC Lamontagne DC Fundraiser Coming?

by: Dean Barker

Thu Aug 06, 2009 at 06:37:42 AM EDT

This is funny, and, to give credit where credit is due, a real example of the power of the Union Leader to reach all the way to the Village:
[Sen. Cornyn] Denied that a current Ayotte fundraiser the NRSC is sponsoring amounted to an endorsement of Ayotte. "I respect the right of people to select a candidate," he said. "We are glad to help her, and we are glad to help any candidate."
I'll be waiting with baited breath for the NRSC McConnell-Cornyn DC fundraiser (not).

The Gregg orchestrated Ayotte rollout continues to stumble.

Or Bass (4.00 / 1)
There are certainly better choices for National R's other than to meddle in NH politics by picking winners and losers.
I still can't fathom why no one is looking at 6 time Congressman Charlie Bass, or someone else with experience winning elections.
DC types may be rethinking the coronation of Queen Kelly.
Her procession to the nomination looked like smooth sailing a few weeks ago,but it has hit some turbulent air. It reminds me of my favorite Mike Tyson line:"They all have a plan until I hit them". Can she take a punch ?

'Aints no more

While I disagree as to the strength of Bass, you get a four for a great Tyson line. (4.00 / 1)
which gets to the heart of the issue with any first time candidate (including ours)-- what's that jaw made of?

"But, in the unlikely story that is America, there has never been anything false about hope." Si se puede. Yes we can.

BIG trouble for K-Street Kelly (0.00 / 0)
I think it's pretty clear that the Ayotte train is going off the tracks after a very rocky start.  If she's already losing the support of her "constituents" in Washington, like John Cornyn, then I think she is in BIG trouble.
