The angry crowd at McCain's town hall were supporters of health care reform.
Here is the somewhat funny part:
When McCain was trying to answer questions from reporters after the town hall, one audience member yelled at him that he gets hundreds of thousands of dollars from insurance companies every year. In a voice of feigned surprise, McCain said "Really? I didn't know that."

My only explanation is the Daily Oklahoman, the biggest rag by circulation in the state and called by the Columbia Journalism Review "the worst newspaper in the country" (and yes, they know about our own UL).
