I think you'll like Like the Dew.
It would be very refreshing if our leaders would be more direct instead of trying to be safe all the time.
I could have cut and pasted her answers from the typical canned safe response I get when I send her questions myself.
Unlike others I expect more out of my elected officials then typical politically safe questions and answers.
She answered questions that I asked her before in writing and receive the exact same response. I could have cut and pasted the responses myself.
If we start to hold out elected officials to a higher standard, then we will start to get better government.
From your vantage point those all count as softballs, I guess.
I worked and lived in DC for many years before moving here and I can easily recognize political BS.
I want better out of our elected leaders, not the status quo.
On the other hand, my standards are sufficiently high that I will no longer pay attention to your self-important, ignorant, posturing drivel.
Also, "Capitol" is a name for a government's primary building, derived from Capitoline Hill in Rome. It refers exclusively to the United States Capitol, the building where the Congress meets, and to buildings that serve similar purposes in the various states and, in theory, other countries. In reference to a city constituting a seat of government, an economic resource, or any other use of the word, "capital" has an "a". Capital. Capitol.
