Mitt Romney to New Hampshire: You're On Your Own

by: Dean Barker

Mon Jul 23, 2007 at 08:47:51 AM EDT

Anti-government Mitt in Nashua:
[Romney] slammed Clinton's comments alluding to changing from an "on-your-own" society to one that depends on shared responsibility.
Looks like Mitt is gunning to be the Next Decider.  Here's how one recent Republican president defined "on-your-own" down in NOLA:
katrina Victims

(Update: I almost forgot! Anti-government Mitt has a proven track record of leaving New Hampshire in the lurch.  No wonder he feels the need to have his own fake police force when in our state.)

Xenophobe Mitt in Nashua:

"That's out with Adam Smith and in with Karl Marx," he said. "With that platform she couldn't be elected president of France, let alone the United States."
That kind of tripe reminds me of something I saw recently... What was it? Oh yeah, I almost forgot.

If you want another Bushling in office who will continue to squander America's hegemony in the world with warmongering, xenophobia, and a hatred for the function of government, vote for Mitt.

Romney's the perfect candidate (0.00 / 0)
to turn off every decent American to the Republican party, for good.

He's a shameless flip-flopper and an insensitive asshole.  I am really starting to hope he gets the nomination.

It's time we steer by the stars, and not the lights of every passing ship

He's also (0.00 / 0)
-- A self-made gajillionaire businessman

-- A Mormon (i.e., a "person of faith")

-- Presidentially handsome (I have seen aides to Democratic officials literally swoon)

-- Was elected governor of the People's Republic of Massachusetts

-- And has "evolved" to a hard line on the issues they care about most.

Just saying, don't discount him. You're absolutely right that he's loathsome, but he's broadly appealing to them, and he just might be W's secret favorite, which I imagine has to help in some way.
