bye bye to the front page for now

Hi everyone. I've taken a part time job with Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter's campaign - I'm working on netroots outreach around the nation. After careful consideration, I decided that it would be inappropriate for me to continue on as a front page blogger for the duration of the campaign. I am grateful to Dean, Laura, the Mikes, and elwood for giving me the opportunity, and the support to be on the front page.

As Ahnold was wont to say, "I'll be back!" - on the front page.

HEY! (4.00 / 2)
Are you still going to post from time to time -  let us know what is happening on CSP's campaign?

"When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on."  Franklin D. Roosevelt

of course (4.00 / 2)
I'm not going anywhere - I just won't be taking advantage of the front page bully pulpit to do so! No favorites!

Congrats Susan (4.00 / 2)
And good call, I think. There is a strong argument that the two positions present no conflict, because this community overwhelmingly supports CSP's reelection. But better to uphold the principle, and besides, we all know what "part-time" on a campaign means: 23 hours a day!

Only 23 hours a day? (4.00 / 1)
After all the work you did for Kucinich, I can't imagine you doing anything part time, you'll just get full time work done in half the hours ;-)

Congrats, Susan!

Kick ass and take names, Susan (4.00 / 1)
And ditto to CSP!

I'm totally bummed we are losing you (4.00 / 5)
as a front-pager, but the reason you are leaving your BH perch is just about the only one I can accept, and accept gladly!

I can't imagine a better public servant to help out for re-election, so congrats. And in the meantime, please tell the Congresswoman she is welcome to come here for a post or a liveblog or somesuch.

And the minute she has safely earned her second term, please come on back!
