Well, it's a good thing we have one in Carol Shea-Porter (from an email release):
--Fighting to ensure access to in-state health care for New Hampshire's more than 130,000 veterans by introducing the Veterans Health Equity Act (H.R. 6629) to ensure that each state has a full-service veteran's facility or access to equivalent services through contract with other healthcare facilities.
--Shea-Porter is an original cosponsor of the GI Bill for the 21st Century, which restores full, four-year scholarships to Iraq and Afghanistan veterans, similar to the benefits available to World War II veterans in the original GI Bill.
--Introduced the Combat Veterans Debt Elimination Act (H.R. 5155) to prevent the Veterans Administration from collecting debt from the families of soldiers killed in combat. Shea-Porter's bill was included in the Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2008 and was signed by the President on June 30, 2008.
--Supported the two largest increases in veterans' funding in history to ensure that veterans have access to quality healthcare, mental health care, and the other resources they need and deserve.
No wonder the VFW endorsed Carol Shea-Porter. Can someone tell me why Jeb is running again?
