Such a Mean Old Man

In the interview, Gregg objected most strongly to Obama's proposal to devote 18 percent of cap-and-trade revenues to fund clean energy projects.

"A hundred twenty billion is a lot of money," said the three-term moderate. "It's obscene."

..."They shouldn't using it as stalking horse for his (Obama's) special interests," he said. "That's the Al Gore fund."

Read the whole thing to see how Janus Judd supported cap and trade when John McCain was the one who could be president.

Mean, snide, and transparently partisan.  And coming from the no-strings-attached Bush Bank Bailout's biggest cheerleader, patently hypocritical.

It's obscene.

Incredible (4.00 / 1)
They call him a three term "moderate"?  How do they define moderate?

"When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on."  Franklin D. Roosevelt

The only thing that comes to mind. . . . (0.00 / 0)
He now supports gun control (e.g., the assault weapons ban), even though the NH media doesn't violate him like they did Dick Swett.  Perhaps that's because he's a Republican?

Aside from that, I have a hard time using the word "moderate" to describe the only Member of Congress from north of the Mason-Dixon line to support Reagan's wreath-laying at a Waffen SS cemetery.
