Wayne Wiggin, a gas station attendant in town and registered Republican, said he didn't vote for Shea-Porter in 2006 or 2008 and doesn't plan to this year. He said he opposes the stimulus package and health care reform law.
"I can't afford to have her and her buddies running the show all the time," Wiggin said. "It's costing me too much money."

Wiggin said nothing has actually changed in his personal finances but "you can see it coming."

Meanwhile, even some leaning in Carol's direction think she voted for the bank bailout, according to the Monitor piece.

Our media, and the citizenry's relationship to it, is largely broken.
