Fergus! Hillary Clinton is "Like a Roto-Tiller"

by: Dean Barker

Thu Jan 10, 2008 at 18:30:57 PM EST

The comic stylings of New Hampshire GOP Chair Fergus!* Cullen on Hillary Clinton:
This morning at a briefing for foreign reporters covering the New Hampshire primary, state GOP chairman Fergus Cullen made this analogy about Clinton.

"She is like a roto-tiller - a machine of cold steel with claws that grind up the earth," Cullen said, as jaws dropped among many reporters.

"Actually, the roto-tiller may be warmer than Clinton."

Ray Buckley was more than happy to finish the analogy:
"The roto-tiller is used to mix in the fertilizer, otherwise known as cow manure," Buckley said. "I see a lot of cow manure in the Republican party. They are all standing out in the field up to their knees in the cow manure."

*To understand why Nanny Cullen gets the Rudy!esque exclamation point, click on the link.  What a preposterous name tag.

Go Ray! Democrats are just what we need to bury that cow manure. (0.00 / 0)
Though I think a lot of us wouldn't be so kind in our language as to say "cow manure"...

Fergus had a bad primary (4.00 / 3)
This was the primary of Fergus Cullen: he decided to tick off WMUR, the only state wide commercial television station, and national network ABC, by trying to schedule a debate that would compete with WMUR. Then, when the candidates would not do a debate, it turned into a forum, and when Fox wouldn't let Paul in, Fergus pulled the NHGOP's support, thereby ticking off Fox, another national network.  Meanwhile, Raymond Buckley scheudled this huge 100 Club Dinner, which must have made $200,000 for the NHDP.

And he embarasses himself on a national stage saying nasty things about a candidate for the American presidency to the foreign press.

How can NH Democrats be so lucky?

Energy and persistence conquer all things.
Benjamin Franklin

Not to mention the, by my rough count, 50,000 more Dem primary voters on Tuesday (0.00 / 0)

Fergus is a tool. (0.00 / 0)
Also, what is with the blue, New Hampshire tie and the Lynch-esque sticker?  Is Fergus going through an experimental phase?

It's time we steer by the stars, and not the lights of every passing ship

How should we fix education funding?
A constitutional amendment.
Something different.
