Ned Lamont Stops By Obama's Manchester Office

by: Anne Marie

Wed Oct 29, 2008 at 18:01:00 PM EDT

(Came home to a nice message on my machine from Mr. Lamont. Very complimentary to our work here on Blue Hampshire and at the convention. Sure hope you run again 2012 Ned, Blue Hamsters will need a Senate race to support. - promoted by Mike Hoefer)

This afternoon Ned Lamont, former Democratic candidate for Senate in CT against Joe Lieberman, stopped by the Campaign for Change office to show his support, thanking volunteers and making phone calls to help Get Out the Vote in the last week of the campaign.

Anne Marie :: Ned Lamont Stops By Obama's Manchester Office
In 2000 we were out hustled. In 2004 we were out muscled with the Swift Boat attacks. Now, with the power of our volunteer base, we won't be out hustled or out muscled this year.

Lamont, who endorsed Barack during the primaries, is the Chairman of Connecticut for Obama. His CT group has sent over a hundred volunteers to New Hampshire every weekend for months, and Lamont has been acting as a surrogate for the campaign at local Chamber of Commerce debates.

"Everyone has their eyes on New Hampshire," Lamont said.

Join Lamont's efforts: come to your nearest New Hampshire office to help Get Out the Vote.

Doddmentum (4.00 / 3)
Ned Lamont originally endorsed Chris Dodd during the primaries, and then endorsed Obama after Dodd dropped out.

It's great to hear that he's been involved in helping Obama here in NH.

Congressman McGovern, the new Chairman of the Congressional Human Rights Caucus, stopped by Obama HQ in Concord this afternoon to thank us phone bankers. . . .

Hi Mike, this is Ned Lamont ... I'm really intrigued by the work you guys do ... great convention stuff ... now this Act Blue stuff, how does that work exactly?

Never too soon to think about the 2012 Senate race.

OK, I'm cynical. But consider this my endorsement, unless my sister runs.

Actually I'm pretty sure I'd vote for Lamont over my sister. Shhh.
