Oh Dear

Apparently a bit more than just "So we sold each kid to a homosexual couple that's not married for $10,000,":
"What about the Muslims now?," he asked."Everyone's praising the Muslims. They're killing us. What about them, they want three, four wives. We're discriminating against them."
NHDP Chair Ray Buckley has called on Rep. Baldasaro to resign.

(h/t TPM; see also Brian Rater's diary, who I believe scooped it first.)

UPDATE: Baldasaro responds (in part):

When reached Monday Baldasaro said he stands by his comment and that Buckley "can kiss my ass."

..."Why wouldn't I put it out there? I stand by the statement and I have nothing to hide. It is the truth and it is my right to free speech," he said.

The NH Republican party, ladies and gentlemen.

"Group think" is, apparently, an affliction that (0.00 / 0)
not only prevents individuals from thinking for themselves, but makes them incapable of distinguishing other people as individuals, distinct from any group into which they might be lumped.
This disability likely accounts for many an erroneous judgment leading to ill-advised actions and negative, even physical, reactions.  So, it's not surprising that the level of insecurity is constantly increasing.  It must be a very frustrating condition for these people to be in.

Classy. (0.00 / 0)

Title 14? Title 40? (4.00 / 1)
It sounds like Rep. Baldasaro was referring to either Title 40 or Title 14 as the authority for selling children to homosexual couples who arent married.  I know Al pretty well & I sensed he was wound up & that he was gonna annoy the **** of me if I stayed and listened.  I also was ready to grab some lunch before the cafeteria closed.  I confess I skipped his testimony deliberately.  If I had know it would become the stuff of legend, I would have stayed.

Be that

There is a Title XL in the NH RSA's: TITLE XL: AGRICULTURE, HORTICULTURE AND ANIMAL HUSBANDRY

Baldasarro proves that on the Republican side, you get what you pay for (0.00 / 0)
$100 per year gets you Al Baldasarro.

He should tell his constituents that did not know about same-sex marriage to read the papers - if they are not illiterate!

Putney (0.00 / 0)
If Bill O'Reilly covered NH news, they'd have known all about it.

[ Parent ]
Of course you're right (0.00 / 0)
And they wouldn't have to read about it.
