Many Thanks to All, and Especially Jack

I had a great time at the NHYD/Blue Hampshire Bash tonight, folks.

But before we get too far down the road from it, a quick word of thanks to all who participated and helped make it happen.  This includes our wonderful candidates who were able to make it: Carol Shea-Porter, Paul Hodes, and Ann McLane Kuster.  A great big shout out to the bash band: Beverly Woods, Jon Bresler, and Karen Liot Hill (and of course Paul and Peggo Hodes!). And of course to NHYD Chair Jeff McLean and all those NHYDs who were there and helped make it happen.

And a huge thank you to Jack Mitchell, for doing the major organizing of the event.  Jack was the start and finish to making this bash what it was.

Big thanks to the NHYD for co-sponsoring (4.00 / 2)
you made it a great event and we got to play geezer rock!
next time we should have a little more Jay-z and Alisha Keys...they could do New York for DD the way they did it at the World Series last year...

Not in the shot

It was a great event (4.00 / 2)
On behalf of NHYD, I want to thank everyone for coming out, our great electeds and candidates, and of course, Jack, our party planner.

New Hampshire is well served by the group of activists and bloggers assembled this evening.

I haven't followed the Federal Trade Commission proposal (4.00 / 1)
to require that bloggers divulge anything they receive from people and organizations they write about.

Let me frankly acknowledge: I had four french fries from Ms. Kuster's plate.

Um.. (4.00 / 1)
I'll attempt to be gracious and say, you are welcome.

But lets keep it real, Dean. I'll gladly spend a hour here and there for a month to put a Bash together. But you deserve the credit. Every single day you put yourself into this forum. That is truly deserving of thanks. What you do, and the others that contribute, is what brings folks out.

Glad to hear it went well (4.00 / 1)
so sorry I had to miss it. Was playing at a retirement party for an old friend, just got home. Saw several folks there who had just rolled in from the convention (Hodes t-shirts, stickers, the whole thing), and got great reports from them.

Good day to be a Democrat, no matter where you were!

Promise I'll play at the next Bash, whenever that may be.

Thank you Beverly and Karen (4.00 / 2)
It was a long day to be a Democrat...for people who came to the day long convention, then to the Bash. Beverly Woods and Karen Liot Hill, both Hampsters who had long drives home to Wolfeboro and to Lebanon, to kids and partners and babysitters...thanks again so much for making the party a musical one...and to Paul and Peggo for their wonderful singing and playing. Don't be surprised if the Congressman plays more on the trail. His parting words were, 'more guitar, more guitar...'. BTW way Peggo had me turn Paul's guitar down, then in aside bet me how long it would take for him to turn it back up...

More Thank You (4.00 / 2)
Thank you to Roberto Fuentes for finding the venue.

Thank you to Beth Campbell for printing and delivering the nifty nametags.

Thank you to Ray Buckley for helping promote the Bash.

It was great to see (4.00 / 1)
everyone, as usual.

The music was wonderful, too.
