Why I Stand With Carol Shea-Porter

by: PaulHodes

(Thank You, Rep. Hodes! - promoted by Dean Barker)

Carol Shea-Porter has been a remarkable advocate for New Hampshire families. She's an example of the very best in public service - principled, passionate, and not afraid to roll up her sleeves and fight for what's right, even when it may be politically inconvenient.

She fought tirelessly for health insurance reform, for tough rules to crack down on Wall Street, and for equal pay for every American woman. Nobody in New Hampshire ever has to wonder where Carol stands - she's tough, she's a fighter, and she is an outstanding Representative for the people of New Hampshire's 1st District. It's is an honor to work together with her for the Granite State.

PaulHodes :: Why I Stand With Carol Shea-Porter
Carol is going to win this fall because she's on New Hampshire's side. She puts the Granite State first, not Washington lobbyists, health insurance companies, or Big Oil.

While her opponents are busy cozying up to Washington Republicans and any special interest that comes their way, Carol is busy fighting to rebuild the middle-class and fix what's broken in Washington. She's in public service for the right reasons - the people, not the politics.

Let's work hard this fall to send Carol to victory!

Thank you Paul! (4.00 / 7)
And for those wondering: I have had zero contact with the Hodes' campaign about CSP Week.  That was a very generous (and classy) thing to do, imo.

Carol Shea-Porter Rocks! (0.00 / 0)
She's the best.  My favorite national office-holder, for many reasons.  And her consistent position on Afghanistan, one that leads her to be suspicious of our purpose there, shows she's a visionary leader too.  Hopefully we'll see more reflection on our Afghanistan policy, and get out of there before we cause even more damage to America's future, or kill more people -- ours, and theirs.

The Senate could use some team players like this one. (4.00 / 2)

It is such a great honor (4.00 / 4)
to be able to brag about our great members of congress!

2012 starts today.

CSP - $605,000 Cash on Hand (4.00 / 5)
Carol Shea Porters numbers are out; she raised $209,000 and has $605,000 cash on hand.  That is excellent news!

"When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on."  Franklin D. Roosevelt

She is (0.00 / 0)
a real "stand-up" person, which means it's a near miracle that she is a member of the House and that she has little chance of moving higher.  This is by no means meant as a slight at Paul, who I hope will continue to exceed expectations!

A liberal listens to a conservative and says "You may have a couple of points there.  Let's try to compromise.

A leftist listens to a conservative and says "Your ideas are ridiculous.  Shut up and listen."
