Not a surprise, exactly, but nice to see an endorsement of Carol Shea-Porter by the non-partisan League of Conservation Voters turn up at the end of CSP Week ( h/t Shira):
Rep. Shea-Porter has consistently supported tax credits that would encourage the development of wind, solar and other clean energy sources while creating thousands of jobs. In 2007, she voted to reduce taxpayer handouts to Big Oil and to shift government subsidies from oil to cleaner, more secure renewable energy sources.

LCV Action Fund Endorses Carol Shea-Porter for Re-Election in New Hampshire's 1st District
Washington, DC - The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund, which works to elect candidates who will implement sound environmental policies, today announced its endorsement of Carol Shea-Porter (NH-01) for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives. Rep. Shea-Porter earned a perfect 100% on LCV's 2009 National Environmental Scorecard and has a lifetime environmental score of 96%.*
"Representative Shea-Porter has been an important voice calling for investment in clean American energy to power economic growth in the 21st century," said LCV President Gene Karpinski. "We are proud to endorse Representative Shea-Porter for re-election because she knows that our economic future depends upon putting Americans to work creating clean energy while reducing our dependence on foreign oil and curbing harmful global warming pollution."
Rep. Shea-Porter voted for the House-passed American Clean Energy and Security Act that would help create more than 7,000 clean energy jobs in New Hampshire**, reduce dangerous carbon pollution and increase energy independence. She also supported the single largest investment in clean energy in history - more than $80 billion for energy efficiency, renewable energy and public transit in the economic recovery package, with more than $50 million invested in job-creating clean energy and home weatherization projects in New Hampshire alone.

*The non-partisan LCV Scorecard is a nationally accepted yardstick used to rate members of Congress on conservation and clean energy issues.
