I Almost Feel Sorry for John Stephen. Almost.

MSNBC:
New Hampshire again ranks No. 1 nationally in an annual survey on children's well-being.

...In composite rankings for all indicators, New Hampshire ranked highest, as it has in eight of the last nine years. This year, it was followed by Minnesota and Vermont. Mississippi ranked last.

"That's an incredible record, and it says a lot about how well kids fare in this state," said Ellen Fineberg, president of the Children's Alliance of New Hampshire, a nonprofit group that does research on children in the state.

Whatever your policy or political disagreements are with Governor Lynch (I sure have some), there is no question he has been a far superior steward of this state than the days of Craig Benson.

Let's not go back there.

Poor Johnny - I just saw the PPP numbers on the gubernatorial race. He leads Jack Kimball 26% - 15% in the GOP primary field. 51% undecided. Oops.

One person who will be really, really happy about this is Jeb Bradley. Jeb is grooming himself to run for governor in 2012; a victory by John Stephenununu would put a big crimp in his plans.

Here. I'm surprised there wasn't any significant mention of this in either the summation at the top of the release or on PPP's blog. Having the Republican gubernatorial primary that significantly unsettled after Stephen has been trying to cast himself as inevitable says a lot about how ineffective Stephen has been - and how discouraged Republicans are about bothering to challenge the highly-effective Governor John Lynch.

IT for John Lynch '04 and NHDP '08 - I'm liking my track record so far!
