Veterans for Carol

(Bumped, because I love these vids. - promoted by Dean Barker)

Carol shea-Porter, a military spouse, sits on the Armed Services Committee.  She's been to Afghanistan twice, and from burn pits to TriCare, she's been on the forefront of doing everything she can to protect and assist veterans and active duty military.

This is one of the most satisfying aspects of Rep. Shea-Porter's "for the rest of us" portfolio because it runs so counter to phony hippie stereotype that the Red Team tries so hard to pin on her.

Let's not forget that the conservative strategy is to attack (0.00 / 0)
what they perceive to be the opponent's strengths and where they themselves are weak.  It's a self-protective strategy because, when and if the opponent counter-attacks, it can be dismissed as retaliation and the weakness doesn't have to be explained.  Practically speaking it doesn't make much sense, but on an emotional level it works for them.
While the Congresswoman is not going to bother pointing out that Guinta's antagonism towards adequate medical care hasn't made an exception for veterans, his blanket endorsement of not spending money for anything but punishment of one kind or another leaves no room for veteran care and rehabilitation either.

To be honest, she is getting a bit hippie, though. :)

It's easy to give lip-service (0.00 / 0)
to taking care of our veterans and our active military.  All too many say one thing, and then vote against any real help, because it's "wasteful government spending"!  Carol both votes for veterans and military benefits AND provides excellent constituent services.  NH vets have the best!  And every veteran and military service member across the country benefits from what Carol has done and will do if we get out there and re-elect her.

Come hold a Carol sign in Northwood Thursday Oct. 14th any time from 4-6 at the intersection of Rts. 4 and 202/9, at the municipal parking lot.  All candidates welcome!

Another Vet for Carol (4.00 / 1)
As a USAF Vietnam veteran, I support Carol Shea Porter for reelection to the Congress from NH District One.  She deserves the support of all veterans for her support of veterans, active duty service members and their families.  Where others talk a good game, Congresswoman Porter has acted to help all of us who have served our country.
