Why Should the "Rest of Us" Trust Frank Guinta?

by: Dean Barker

Thu Oct 07, 2010 at 16:41:35 PM EDT

Ka-boom:
Good for Carol.  This is a highly unusual situation - a completely unresolved and significant scandal.

It needs to be front and center until Guinta explains himself.  Or someone in the press explains it for him.

Adding: Guinta is out with his first ad now.  Remember a month ago when I wondered if he was trying to steal Carol's phrase, the "rest of us"?  I was right.

Addinger: Pindell TruthChecks CSP's other ad on Guinta and Social Security and discovers, yes, he wants to abolish Social Security, and yes, the way he'll do it is by privatizing it.

Good question. (0.00 / 0)
A really lengthy compendium of Guinta's missteps as a public official in Manchester arrived in my box this morning and it was just TOO MUCH.  This ad is just right.  One all-important issue.  If public officials lie, what good are they?

Planned destruction -- think of it as the impulse to (0.00 / 0)
knock down a sand-castle before the sea reclaims that part of the shore.  Instead of enjoying an artistic creation as long as possible, anger at the sea and not a little envy of the artist, prompts some people to destroy.  Then they console themselves with the thought that the artist can always make another one.  Sad.
