Attorney General Kelly Ayotte Hard at Work

by: Dean Barker

Tue Oct 12, 2010 at 17:53:40 PM EDT

Attorney General Kelly Ayotte hard at work in 2006:
"Recovering from the Democratic tsunami. With a dem gov, house and senate, its a whole new world. check out the UL front page from sunday. Future of the GOP article. Whose name is first?? Me. It must be killing Johny who is apparently already contacting people to say he has an interest in running for congress."
"Johny" [sic] would be John Stephen. Apparently there are rivalries among the spawn of the Benson Administration.

And she calls Guinta a grandstander?

Me! ME ME ME ME MEEEEEEEEE! The UL put ME first!

But don't you dare accuse her of using a death penalty case to burnish her political credentials.

Bush League (4.00 / 1)

Why am I not surprised?

But using the death penalty while still AG is Fox League.

She's the most canned candidate I've ever seen in NH--and that's saying a lot.

I'm still reeling from the hannounced email (4.00 / 2)
I imagine it came from a Blackberry given the spelling, and the thought of her eagerly typing that in a glib response to a campaign question makes me a little queasy.

I'm sure it won't break into the 83 part investigative series the UL is doing on how prison parolees are not all nice people, but it really should be a leading headline somewhere. Maybe WMUR has the integrity?
