NH-01: I Have a (Strike and Replace) Dream

by: Dean Barker

FAIRBANKS MANCHESTER -- A judge ruled Saturday that the Fairbanks North Star Borough Bank of America must release personnel records bank statements of U.S. Senate House candidate Joe Miller Frank Guinta.

In an unusual weekend hearing, retired Superior Court Judge Winston Burbank ruled that the public's right to know about candidates outweighed Miller's Guinta's right to privacy.

"I hold that although Mr. Miller Guinta has a legitimate expectation of privacy in those documents, Mr. Miller's Guinta's right to privacy is indeed outweighed by the public's significant interest in the background of a public figure who is running for the U.S. Senate House," the judge said. He noted that U.S. senator congressperson is among the highest elected offices in the nation.

There is still Hope! (4.00 / 1)
We did a Visibility today for CSP and the Dem. Ticket at Exeter. It was well-attended and the responses were less negative than they were yesterday. The Portsmouth Herald also wrote a beautiful endorsement letter today that, in the words of one outstanding Rockingham County Dem. Grassroots of the Grassroots, represents exactly what we know and love about Carol.

Go Carol!
8 Days to Victory!

Alaska ( home of Mama Grizzly) does it right.

Now that there a legal precedent, who else will do the right thing?
