Rally for Working Families

by: Mike Hoefer

Wed Mar 23, 2011 at 14:36:27 PM EDT

(Bumped - promoted by elwood)

It's time to stand up.

Let's show the O'Brien Horor Show they they have over-reached for the last time.

Not without a fight is the rallying cry. Join us tomorrow as we stand united against the latest efforts to change NH forever. Under the cloak of darkness secretive amendments were added to HB2 to remove collective bargaining rights Wisconsin Style. Add this on to the already draconian cuts which will collaspe support structures for our elderly, frail and disabled and everyone should have a rallying cry.

Thursday, March 24 (That's Tomorrow This afternoon!) 1:30pm - 4:30pm  Sign up to attend via Facebook

Has anyone let them know about this?  I know I spoke with my mother earlier in the day about the amendment (She's a union steward) and she had people coming up to her most of the morning.  Unfortunately I won't be able to get back in contact with her in time for this.

Lynch finally finding his voice...maybe it was my snarky response to Dean's List of assaults on kids (0.00 / 0)
Better late than never- check out today's Concord Monitor (see below)...Do you think Lynch will speak at the rally today? Ok so I am delusional, but I will light candles hoping he finds his spine. Lynch made history with an unprecedented 4th term, now he can make a difference.

Lynch: House cuts 'risky'

Reductions pose threat to economy, governor says

In an unusually confrontational speech, Democratic Gov. John Lynch yesterday blasted the House Finance Committee's state budget proposal.

"Some of the cuts they're proposing are unnecessary. I think they're risky," Lynch said. "The cuts they're proposing will jeopardize . . . our ability to grow the economy. The budget being proposed may jeopardize the health and safety of our citizens." (check out the rest of the article  http://www.concordmonitor.com/... )

Oh, you don't really think that! (4.00 / 2)
Since the Governor's remarks were made before you posted :)
