Watters for State Senate

by: dhw

Sun Mar 25, 2012 at 13:14:02 PM EDT

(Thanks for running David - promoted by Mike Hoefer)

Rep. David Watters declares candidacy for State Senate District 4, Barrington, Dover, Rollinsford, Somersworth.  I will campaign for the Democratic values of the district, work, community, and equality.  This campaign is about creating jobs, supporting education, and promoting equality for all citizens, including women's healthcare choice and marriage equality.  As a union member, I know and will fight for collective bargaining.  Thanks to the Professional Firefights of New Hampshire for its unanimous endorsement, and this campaign will work to earn the support of working people across the district. Senate District 4 needs a strong Democratic voice in Concord.

I am a professor at UNH and in my second term as a state representative from Dover. Public service also includes:  Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission, New Hampshire Humanities Council, New Hampshire Historical Society, Portsmouth Black Heritage Trail, and Robert Frost Farm.

Visit www.wattersforsenate.org for more information about the campaign and for the full declaration of candidacy. Email at watterssenate@gmail.com
