By now, I hope you have heard the great news: as John DiStaso said today in the Union Leader online, I am "moving aggressively" to be a candidate for state Senate in the new district 9 that stretches from Bedford to Peterborough and into Cheshire County. It's a big district and a big challenge, and that's why we need your support!
You can follow the campaign at www.nyquistforsenate.com, facebook at Nyquistforsenate, twitter at @nyquist4senate, and contributions may be made online at https://secure.actblue.com/con...
I am exploring a run for the state Senate because, in my capacities as a father, a husband, neighbor, local volunteer, town moderator and an attorney, I have seen first-hand the impact these last few years have had on our families.
We've all felt the consequences of the sluggish economy and we've all read about the divisiveness in Concord. I believe district 9 voters deserve a citizen legislator who can help steer New Hampshire clear of partisan politics and forge compromise on the key issues facing our state: improving the economy, preserving our personal liberty, and guarding the New Hampshire advantage and way of life.
With your help, we can return respect and civility to Concord, focus on jobs and the economy, and help improve the lives of New Hampshire families.
Please support our effort by contributing $50, $100, $250 or more on our ActBlue page: https://secure.actblue.com/con...
Thank you and please join our effort.
Lee
P.S. Watch an interview I did on WMUR with James Pindell here: http://www.wmur.com/r-video/30... And consider giving online. Every contribution helps!
