Lee Nyquist for State Senate

by: leenyquist

Wed Mar 28, 2012 at 17:56:28 PM EDT

(Thanks for running - promoted by elwood)

By now, I hope you have heard the great news: as John DiStaso said today in the Union Leader online, I am "moving aggressively" to be a candidate for state Senate in the new district 9 that stretches from Bedford to Peterborough and into Cheshire County. It's a big district and a big challenge, and that's why we need your support!

leenyquist :: Lee Nyquist for State Senate
You can follow the campaign at www.nyquistforsenate.com, facebook at Nyquistforsenate, twitter at @nyquist4senate, and contributions may be made online at https://secure.actblue.com/con...

I am exploring a run for the state Senate because, in my capacities as a father, a husband, neighbor, local volunteer, town moderator and an attorney, I have seen first-hand the impact these last few years have had on our families.

We've all felt the consequences of the sluggish economy and we've all read about the divisiveness in Concord.  I believe district 9 voters deserve a citizen legislator who can help steer New Hampshire clear of partisan politics and forge compromise on the key issues facing our state: improving the economy, preserving our personal liberty, and guarding the New Hampshire advantage and way of life.

With your help, we can return respect and civility to Concord, focus on jobs and the economy, and help improve the lives of New Hampshire families.

Please support our effort by contributing $50, $100, $250 or more on our ActBlue page: https://secure.actblue.com/con...

Thank you and please join our effort.
Lee

P.S. Watch an interview I did on WMUR with James Pindell here: http://www.wmur.com/r-video/30... And consider giving online. Every contribution helps!

Lee, you will (4.00 / 2)
make a great candidate and state senator. My town, as well as the western part of former district 11 (includes Peterborough) is now in district 9.

I look forward to helping you to get elected.

Thank you (4.00 / 1)
I look forward to working with you in this campaign, Jennifer. Together, we can do this.

Lee will be an outstanding senator (0.00 / 0)
Lee is an extraordinarily gifted and principled leader. His quiet but firm style will do much to transform the chaotic and circus like atmosphere currently at the State House. A consensus builder by nature, Lee will set an example for the opposition to role up their sleeves and get to work moving New Hampshire forward. Over the last 25 years I have seen Lee's commitment to his community and our state, NH is lucky that Lee is willing to serve. He can win. He needs your help.

Have you told a stranger today about Bill O'Brien and his Tea Party agenda? The people of NH deserve to hear about O'Brien  and his majority committed to destroying New Hampshire and remaking it into a armed survivalist preserve.

Thanks (4.00 / 1)
Ray, Thanks for your kind words. We are really up and running, and intend to win for the forces of civility and moderation in our great state.
