Joe Kelly is coming to visit Blue Hampshire

by: Peter Sullivan

Sun Nov 16, 2008 at 18:36:14 PM EST

Blue Hampshire is about to be graced by the presence of none other than renowned right wing loudmouth Joe Kelly levasseur. Earlier this afternoon, he sent me the following message:
Peter Sullivan :: Joe Kelly is coming to visit Blue Hampshire
the question isn't what you said about teddy so much, it's more who would call brooks and give them a quote from a purely democratic blog?  That's the question.  Just how many democrats hate you to do that.  I have to check out this bluenh blog, bet you have a lot of dumb posts there to.  how many people do you threaten on a daily basis there?

Joe likes to create badly disguised sock puppet identities, so if he starts posting, we will know he's here rather quickly.

I'm sure he's upset, since his beloved McCain/Palin team went down hard. let's give Joe a warm welcome when he arrives...

Screw him who cares. Manchester folk are too self centered. WE DON'T CARE ABOUT HIS B*LLSH*T. It's a big state, but you seem to have more than your share of whackos.

We ARE the center of the universe, aren't we? (4.00 / 2)
With all due respect to Epping, of course.

What is the true center of New Hampshire's universe?*

*-The Center Of New Hampshire building in Manchester is automatically disqualified for being too obvious.

Didn't realize the center (0.00 / 0)
was a little further north than the hub.

Other than for politics I've been to Manchester at night less than five times. Not that it doesn't have its fine points. Great small museum, some blues jams, generally okay, but for fun vibe, food, and music we go to Portsmouth. Plus Manchester has a Republican mayor. What's up with that you big city types ?

Sad Admission (4.00 / 2)
Concord resident tries to insult Manchester but instead ends up insulting his own home city by admitting he has to leave town for fun.

I just thought of what I should have said the first time.

Use it ... save it ... ? Oh, I'll forget.

So here is my shouldhavebeen reply:

It's necessitated by bar bans.

Thanks! (4.00 / 2)
It really bugs me when people get all condescending about my home town who don't know bupkus about it. Lala's Hungarian, the Thai food, the Korean food, places in the millyard like Cottons and Commercial Street Fishery, Italian food at Piccolo's, the Latino markets, the ethnic diversity, the little shops like T Shirt Bodega, seeing everyone in the world at some point passing through the Puritan Backroom, the Palace Theater, concerts at the Verizon, the shops and eatieries on Hanover Street.  Etc., etc.

"Fun vibe", indeed.

Zee on Elm St. (0.00 / 0)
Along with the Currier Museum, the Millyard Museum, multiple LGBT bars/clubs, Carribean and African restaurants, and Cafe Momo's - certainly one of the best Napali restaurants on the East Coast, we have TWO Vietnamese restaurants. Hmmm the Douglas N. Everett Arena or the Verizon Wireless? Capital Center for the Arts or Palace Theatre? Concord's Old Fashioned Bargain Days or the Manchester's Blues Festival? Manchester's Angela's Pasta Shop or Concord's Cumberland Farms?

Remind me Kathy, what is the ethnic and economic diversity of Central High again?

2012 starts today.

Well now that Ray and Kathy have exposed all our secrets, I suppose the truth must come out: (0.00 / 0)
The reason we let people from outside Manchester think it's just South Willow St. is because that keeps the traffic under control in the rest of the city.

I prefer South Willow St. (0.00 / 0)
Nine years I rented a place just off So Willow that looked out on to it.

Last year when I bought a place, I chose a place that is just off So Willow that looks out on to it. I prefer it.

2012 starts today.

There's nothing wrong with South Willow St. (0.00 / 0)
Except for the traffic.

1994...the Tee shirt I bought when I moved in sadi, "Concord, City in a Coma". Not much has changed. They roll up the sidewalks at 6:30 most nights. And Bow ? Fuggedaboudit. Mordant comes to mind.

Create a JKL sockpuppet that lauds you and Ray? Generally make nice with NH dems?

Let him explain that to his buddies.

What i'd really like to see though is a sockpuppet that is against sockpuppets, if only of the zen-ness of it.

And Peter, "Pains in the Ass": best tag ever IMO. That should be a regular column. You could get a sponsorship deal from Preparation H.
