Question for Frank Guinta, Charlie Bass, the Johns Sununu, Judd Gregg and the rest

by: Kathy Sullivan 2

Mon May 11, 2009 at 10:42:00 AM EDT

(Remember just one cycle ago when Jim Steiner campaigned on being a "Colin Powell Republican"?  So sad to see where Dick has taken his party. - promoted by Dean Barker)

I have a question for Frank Guinta, Charlie Bass, John E. and John H. Sununu, Judd Gregg and all other New Hampshire Republicans who either hold elective office, plan on running for elective office in '010, or who are members of the Republican
State Committee:

If you had to choose between having Rush Limbaugh or Colin Powell set the future vision of the Republican party, who would you choose?

We know how Dick Cheny answered the question; he picked Rush Limbaugh. So, please tell us, do you agree with the guy who got all those draft deferments because he had "other priorities" that the guy who called soldiers opposed to the war in Iraq "phony soldiers" is a better person to establish your vision than the fellow who has spent most of his adult life in service to his country?

Kathy Sullivan 2 :: Question for Frank Guinta, Charlie Bass, the Johns Sununu, Judd Gregg and the rest
Do you agree with the guy who voted against a resolution calling for the release of Nelson Mandela, that the guy who played "Barack the Magic Negro" on his show should set the Republican agenda?

Do you agree with Mr. Torture that Mr. Oxycontin is the fellow to lead you, as opposed to the distinguished former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs and former Secretary of State?

Fair question, because the answer would tell us volumes about the vision these New Hampshire Republican politicos have not just for their party, but also for our state and our country.

I don't believe Mr. Chenney has a great deal of credibility with many of the GOP these days.

Should be an easy question to answer, then. nt (0.00 / 0)

ROFL (0.00 / 0)
Cheney's approval numbers:     18%
Limbaugh's approval numbers:  26%
Powell's approval numbers: 80% (Rasmussen), or, 54% (CBS/NY Times).

These mean nothing (0.00 / 1)
Powell is not running.

I would like to see a strong third party as the two major parties have left us with huge debt and with a plethora of problems.

Down with Dems and Repbulicans!

Up with the third party movement!

Rush isn't running either. (0.00 / 0)
Doesn't matter. The question doesn't predicate running for office.

The question is a gauge to figure out whose ideology keens closest to theirs.

Kind of shocking (0.00 / 0)
I know Cheney was a semiregular Limbaugh guest, but in light of Limbaugh's "fail" comment, and the relative youth of the Obama administration (112 days and counting), his comments are shocking.

Dubya must be pissed (0.00 / 0)
Cheney is puffing his chest, like the last 8 years are his to defend.

He must forget that 41 knows some pretty rough customers. Dick my find himself pushing up Chiquita bananas, if he doesn't stop embarrassing the "good Bush name."

Bush vs. Cheney. Fight of the chickenhawks.

We have to investigate the Marc Rich pardon!

Frank Guinta is here and now. (4.00 / 2)
But, to you, it doesn't matter that his ideology might hew closer to Rush than to Powell?

For an "independent" I'd think that would mean something.
