NH-Sen: NRSC Chair Doesn't Endorse Kelly Ayotte, Again

by: Dean Barker

Tue Sep 08, 2009 at 22:13:40 PM EDT

Once again, the DC Villagers are commanding from afar whom New Hampshire Republicans shall support for their nominee.  Just don't call it an endorsement, okay?
U.S. Senate hopeful Kelly Ayotte receives special mention in a new memo by the chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

Texas Sen. John Cornyn, who heads the NRSC, calls Ayotte and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina of California strong candidates in a lengthy memo that GOP senators received today on their return from the August recess.

...Cornyn is also listed as a special guest at an Ayotte fund-raiser on Sept. 22 at the NRSC headquarters.

This is becoming a real pattern with Big John.

Thank you, Dean. (0.00 / 0)
I was starting to worry people had forgotten about Big John's nickname.  Too good to give up.

Whatever happened (0.00 / 0)
to federalism in the GOP? Or has that become another talking point to be ignored when its time to put it into practice?

With Michael Steele promoting a Medicare Bill of Rights and the NRSC meddling in state party affairs you have to wonder if those dissonant chords will play well at the grassroots level. Isn't one of the pillars of GOP ideology to keep things at the state level. I guess the constitution, as they interpret it, is a document to waved about then ignored.

Now that the President is done indoctrinating their kids, they can get back to looking for his birth certificate.

"What you need is sustained outrage...there's far too much unthinking respect given to authority." -- Molly Ivins
