For your viewing pleasure, I've put together a Table of Contents, with summary, for today's Republican Status:
I. JOHN'S GETTING SERIOUS. Prominently placed GOP message testing for gubernatorial non-candidate candidate John Stephen.
II. RICH IS IN. An opportunity for GOP NH-02 01 candidate Rich Ashooh to pre-deflect his military-industrial war lobbying, while at the same time softening the blow of Guinta's disastrous fundraising quarter.
III. KELLY ON THE AIR. A nice news bulletin on Kelly Ayotte's latest campaign doings.
IV. BENDER ON TV. Ditto for Jim Bender.
V. WHICH IS IT? Oh dear, a bit of controversy here, in which DiStaso gives Ayotte's campaign manager plenty of space to smooth out a criticism from Binnie. In turn, Binnie himself is accused of flip-flopping. WARNING: This final section contains two sentences referencing the NHDP and Paul Hodes.
In other news, Democrats hold three out of four seats in the federal delegation, the majority in the House and Senate, and the governor's office. The President of the United States, Democrat Barack Obama, visited the state two days ago.
Adding: This column reminds me of why I got into blogging in the first place four years ago. The odd contradiction of living in a progressive community in New Hampshire, but surrounded by a right-wing state media culture. Except in 2006 Republicans, with the exception of John Lynch, ruled everything.
