I am proud to accept the endorsement of a great progressive leader, former Governor Howard Dean. Please join us in Portsmouth this Sunday.
Gov. Howard Dean
I'm proudly endorsing Paul Hodes in New Hampshire's 2010 Senate race because Paul will bring the same New Hampshire common sense and progressive values to the U.S. Senate that have defined his career in public service. Paul was an early and forceful voice against the invasion of Iraq. He's been an consistent advocate for smart policies to stave off climate change, protect a woman's right to make her own decision about her health care, hold Wall Street accountable and help this country recover from eight years of failed Republican economic policies. Most importantly, he has been one of the most outspoken and aggressive proponents of real, comprehensive health care reform. He's never backed down from a strong public option and from building a health care system that puts families, not insurance companies, in charge of their health.
Paul is principled, tough, and independent. He's the kind of person we need in Washington right now to break through the partisan bickering and get things done. Most importantly, Paul isn't afraid to fight for what he believes in - something sadly lacking in Washington today.
Please join me in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on Sunday, March 7 to rally behind Paul and his candidacy. If you can't make it to the event, visit http://paulhodesforsenate.com/... and make a contribution to the campaign today. We need Paul in the US Senate - and he needs our help to get there.
