Ayotte Defends Jim Bunning's Attack on the Unemployed

...Yup, she must be worried about Ovide.  She went where few will go (.mpg; transcript from a Hodes email release):
Mr. Chidester: ...Hardly any Republicans came out in support of what [Senator Bunning] was trying to convey. He was chastised by the media. He was vilified by the Democrats. And yet here we have in little old New Hampshire a candidate by the name of Kelly Ayotte comes out and says, "no, I think we need to look at this bill." You actually supported the reasons why he was trying to hold that bill up. Why don't you tell us a little about that?

Ms. Ayotte: Well I think you, you pointed out Jeff, I mean, the President signed an executive order saying PAYGO, in other words, if you're going to put out a program or you're going to put spending in, then you have to pay for it. And Senator Bunning's point was this, we have this massive debt and we're running trillion dollar deficits, the only point he wanted to make is a very valid point, which is that you have to pay for programs.

Of course, Jim Bunning voted against PAYGO, but who cares about principles when you're trying to ding Democrats at the expense of the unemployed?...

I mean, we know now that she's definitely NOT an Olympia Snowe Republican.  But at this rate, Kelly Ayotte's going to be to the right of Jim DeMint before too long.

go to the right in order to have a chance to win the primary.  Once she's moved over there, it's up to us to nail her sleazy butt into that position for the general.
