Note to Colin: Adwords

Just a word to counsel a little moderation on the Google Adwords strategy (for any candidate, really). Several dyed-in-the-wool NH Dems I know have expressed some annoyance at the blanketing of Annie ads that seem to be wherever they surf. One even remarked that they felt like they were being stalked. It may be a case of demographics, but just the same...visibility is good, but too much can backfire.

funny...and I have never seen it? (0.00 / 0)
I use ad blockers that are strong I guess...I get no pop ups ...nada...though anti Hodes stuff did show up as banners on Youtube which you can turn off once they come on...

note to close readers: this might be sarcastic so think twice before reading to candidates for use in their attacks on each other

speaking just for myself... (0.00 / 0)
I have
Adwords/Adsense placements on my website, and I am grateful for any revenue I get from them, but it isn't that much money.  (It is enough, however, to pay for my web hosting fees.)

I had Kuster ads all over my site for a while, and I saw them everywhere else (even on RedHampshire) but not so much lately.

I've actually been meaning to ask him how he does it.I (0.00 / 0)
It's pretty impressive.

Hmm. I get Kuster ads on (0.00 / 0)
Atrios tonight, but not on TPM or DK (those are my regular haunts). I've seen them before but not so dominant that I recall where.

Now, Alan Grayson?

Thanks for the input! (4.00 / 3)
We are constantly tweaking.

To be fair, for every one of your comments we get one of these too (from Annie's facebook page last night):

"I am not in your district but I love seeing your ads both video and text while I am surfing around online! Wish I could vote for you, but I have Carol so I am set over here in the first district. Good luck and I will donate some more soon :)"

That being said, we've re-jiggered our targeting a bit, we'll see if it works.
