30 Diners in 30 Days: Coming to a Town Near You

by: Dean Barker

Fri Oct 08, 2010 at 21:11:20 PM EDT

Colin announced Annie Kuster's barnstorming tour of 30 diners in 30 days a little while ago.

Says Annie:

"Washington has put politics first and people last for far too long, and I think it's time for a new approach - one that always focuses on what's best for the people of New Hampshire," said Kuster.

"So in the final month of this campaign, I am spending my time criss-crossing our state and sitting down with voters to talk with them about how we can create jobs, fix Washington, and put people back to work."

List of towns and dates below the fold.

Hey Dean (0.00 / 0)
Annie's business plan says nothing about her support for minimum wage increase, and the last time it was in the news was the debate back on September 24.

New Hampshire minimum wage is only $7.25. Massachusetts minimum wage is $8. Vermont is $8.06. Connecticut is $8.25.

This is a great opportunity for her to pick up some potential undecided voters by doing a quick compare/contrast with those numbers, and talking about fighting for a national minimum wage increase. In debate with Bass, she specifically voiced her support for a living wage. Where is that on her website? And is she making a point of bringing it up in her 30 Diners in 30 Days stops?
