1. Guinta's explanation as to why his city reports don't show the Mystery Bank Account? They don't count - they are very basic, completely different from the congressional report, and therefore "shouldn't be part of the discussion." Excuse me? The congressional disclosure was too convoluted to get right, and the city forms were too simple? Frank sounds like Goldilocks with her porridge. I hope he finds a report that's just right one of these days.
2. He worked hard and made money, he has a good work ethic. That is a heck of a surprise to the people of Manchester, he was widely considered to have a lousy work ethic as mayor.
3. He claims Jin Greenberg's analysis only included his salary as mayor. Before that the was in business. Oh, those simple yet pesky city forms. Before he was mayor, he worked for Jeb Bradley as a district assistant. The reports disclose one year working for an insurance adjuster before he worked for Bradley. His 2000 state rep disclosure disclosed no income of more than $10,000 the prior two years.
4. He said he has had this account for years, since the early 2000's. That is odd - see #3 above - only one year of private sector employment disclosed. Also, see #1 - no accounts listed on the city disclosure forms that we aren't supposed to talk about encase they are too simple and basic.
5. He had a private consulting business. Right. Only it is not listed on any of his reports, on which he was supposed to list all of his business relationships.
6. He won't produce bank records, because "it won't stop." Yes it will - show bank statements for the early 2000's to show you had this money in that account. That will clear this up. No one is going to pay any more attention any more if you can prove you had the money.
7. He is a victim of Democratc tactics. No, the Republicans brought this up. The controversy arises from his refusal to produce proof as demanded by Jeb Bradley.
