US Attorney "Can Obtain Banking Documents Quickly"

by: Dean Barker

Thu Oct 28, 2010 at 21:43:36 PM EDT

A longer version of the breaking news is now out from AP:
"His refusal to produce such documentation is a breach of public trust and invites the inference that a significant illegal campaign contribution in the $250,000 to $500,000 range occurred," Brunelle said.

...Brunelle said the U.S. attorney's office was an appropriate choice to handle an investigation because it can obtain banking documents quickly that would resolve the matter.

And here's a bonus pic from a viz today I found floating the intertubes:

If our US Attorney "can obtain banking documents quickly" (4.00 / 1)
we need him on foreclosure proceedings full-time. The BANKS can't locate those docs.

The banks can't locate the necessary documents to prove who's (4.00 / 1)
entitled to claim property on which the note hasn't been paid as promised because the documents tracking the note weren't properly drawn up and recorded.  The fraud occurred when this was noticed, after the fact, and the banks had collection agencies draw up affidavits to attest to information the attesters had no personal knowledge of.
To give an example that's comparable, imagine you went to a justice of the peace to get married and that justice filed a document with the clerk's office, but it got lost.  Then if you wanted to get a marriage certificate 'cause it didn't arrive in the mail as promised, the justice could attest from her own knowledge that she witnessed your marriage on a particular day.  If some other justice sent in such a statement, it would be fraud.
Mortgages are different from marriages because there's a material commitment (money), as well as a promise to associate.  I supposed you could compare it to a prenuptual agreement. If you lose that, you've got less to stand on when you make a case in divorce court.
Fraudsters hate bureaucrats 'cause they keep records and demand that other people do too.

I know that sign! (4.00 / 1)
Northwood's municipal park and ride yesterday afternoon.  Great viz.  Come join us at the entrance to the transfer station on Rt. 4 Sat and Sun 10-12.

We had a great response (0.00 / 0)
from people - lost count of how many supporters honked or waved in support.

Just a few negatives - maybe a half dozen, including a one-fingered salute from Michael Harrington, of the PUC.  Probably not a smart thing for someone engaged in public trust to be doing, although no one ever accused him of being smart.  And in Harrington's case, he was probably just telling us what his IQ was.

He's an idiot supreme.
