Nice Op-Ed in the Union Leader

("We are writing because we have noticed an extreme and alarming change to our state government." - promoted by William Tucker)

I'm actually surprised. That the UL would willingly allow such an attack on the GOP in their paper is remarkable.

...we are a state that is sitting back and letting all of this happen. Maybe we are exhausted from the economy, from news of wars, but a serious price is being paid for complacency...It feels like a takeover; maybe it is.

There have been MANY letters to the editor in the Monitor the past week, listing the top 'crazy' going on in Concord, but this letter, in my opinion does it best.

The fact that it's in the UL is very telling...

Absolutely agree! (4.00 / 1)
People need to see this Op-Ed and realize what's going on is not what New Hampshire wants or is even about.

Great Op-Ed (4.00 / 3)
Thanks for posting--I would have missed it.

This really should be read by every voter in NH

What I love about this LTE (4.00 / 2)
Is that these are regular people, not activists like us who are focused on this stuff all the time. I worry that what's really happening in Concord is not getting through to non-obsessed citizens who are too busy with every day life to really see what's going on. Plus they've nailed the issues and put them, beautifully, into context.  So heartfelt!

I think we should be proud of the local newspapers, too, for staying on top of the issues, votes and color, writing front page stories on a daily basis to inform those of us who still read newspapers. They've been great!

That letter rocks.
