Looks like Frank Guinta might get "Tea Partied"

by: Lucy Edwards

Thu Aug 04, 2011 at 10:50:53 AM EDT

Frankie is in trouble with the local Tea Party, according to this article in NH Journal by Fergus Cullen:

State Rep. Andrew Manuse of Derry, who was an active Guinta supporter in the campaign, posted the following on Facebook Wednesday: "I would like to apologize for urging support for Congressman Frank Guinta in the last election. Unfortunately, Guinta was good at giving lip service to what we all wanted to hear, but he has proven himself to be a typical Washington insider with his vote for the Patriot Act and now his vote to raise the debt ceiling. I will not be able to support him again. I do hope he has a primary opponent worth supporting."

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

I think this is inevitable (0.00 / 0)
[moved from the wrong place! sorry about that...]

The T-Party does not belong in the Republican Party.

They desperately cling to it, like mildew on the shower wall, because they know they cannot win as the third party they are. Eventually, the GOP will toss these idiots out because no party can survive the onslaught of moronica called the T-Party.

Consider these former Libertarians, masquerading as Republicans, masquerading as tea baggers: David Koch and Ron Paul. (Shame on the voters in Texas who keep re-electing this guy. What's in the water down there, anyway? Not enough fluoride?!)

Big news (0.00 / 0)
Isn't it? Is the opponent a serious candidate?

it depends on how you define "serious" (4.00 / 1)
Andrew Manuse is not a frivolous person.  By that definition of the word "serious", he is a serious candidate.

But does he have much of a chance of becoming a credible challenger?  Does he have a serious chance of winning? Nope, not really.
