Ray Wieczorek retiring

Ray Wieczorek will not run for re-election to the Executive Council.

Small businessman and former chairman of the Manchester Democrats Chris Pappas, who also has serv ed as chairman of the NHDP platform committee, is considering running, according to John DiStaso in the UL. Chris is well known and well liked - and will have a definite advantage among the fans of either Puritan ice cream or Back Room chicken tenders.  He also is articulate and smart. He would be a great candidate. Let's encourage him - with Colin Van Ostern, Deb Pignatelli and Chris Pappas running in three of the five E.C. districts, we could do very well. I don't know who else might consider running in this district, but unless Tom Brady moves to Manchester and throws his hat in the ring, I will support Chris.

Two term Hillsborough County Treasurer (4.00 / 1)
and state representative as well.  As county treasurer Chris invested wisely and saved the taxpayers millions, as a state legislator he was a respected member of the House Finance Committee.

Have you told a stranger today about Bill O'Brien and his Tea Party agenda? The people of NH deserve to hear about O'Brien  and his majority committed to destroying New Hampshire and remaking it into a armed survivalist preserve.

Steve Vaillancourt is reporting (2.00 / 2)
that Lou d'Allesandro is going to run for the spot.

Here is a fact that should help you to fight a little longer.
Things that don't actually kill you outright make you stronger.

I don't have any idea what that rating is about, Ray n/t (0.00 / 0)

I strongly disagree with (0.00 / 0)
Giving credence to that person as a legitimate source of information.

I'm hoping (0.00 / 0)
that you don't mean Lucy. I find her very credible.

Don't be silly Susan (0.00 / 0)
You know who I am talking about.

Wow. My first ratings squabble. (4.00 / 4)
For me, BH has two functions.  One is to provide a place for the exchange of opinion and debate on a wide range of subjects of general interest to those who visit here.

Secondly, I find this site to be a powerful tool for news gathering.  Information ignored by the mainstream media shows up here.  On days when I do not have time to read or listen to the various news outlets, a quick survey of new diaries here usually gives me a pretty good overview of the high (or low) spots.

I posted, without further editorial comment, a piece of information directly on point to a diary, and clearly identified the source.  I believe my fellow Hamsters deserve the opportunity to evaluate relevant information for themselves, and I have every confidence in their ability to do so.

And see?  That's exactly what the participants in this discussion have done.

Here is a fact that should help you to fight a little longer.

Perhaps when attempts to destroy (0.00 / 0)
You and your family you won't be so cavalier about dealing with that incredibly dangerous person.
