Ray Wieczorek will not run for re-election to the Executive Council.
Small businessman and former chairman of the Manchester Democrats Chris Pappas, who also has serv ed as chairman of the NHDP platform committee, is considering running, according to John DiStaso in the UL. Chris is well known and well liked - and will have a definite advantage among the fans of either Puritan ice cream or Back Room chicken tenders. He also is articulate and smart. He would be a great candidate. Let's encourage him - with Colin Van Ostern, Deb Pignatelli and Chris Pappas running in three of the five E.C. districts, we could do very well. I don't know who else might consider running in this district, but unless Tom Brady moves to Manchester and throws his hat in the ring, I will support Chris.
