Refreshing to hear from McLaughlin

An article in The Citizen yesterday entitled "McLaughlin Not Running for Governor" included these statements from our former NH Attorney General concerning a 21st Century Model of the NH Pledge:
"...zealously guarding individual rights, including allowing people to marry the person of their choice; the right of all women to choose; and the right of labor to unionize...oppose those who put their demands for unlimited gun rights before the safety of our children in colleges and our police officers on the street....Our greatest problem is that we currently have inadequate revenues to fund core services. Local educational funding is threatened. ...the next Governor must be willing to put on the table all our problems and all potential remedies and craft those compromises that best serve the common good"

Phil McLaughlin Is A Good Man... (0.00 / 0)
...and will make a great candidate whenever he can run for office.

He was not only an excellent Attorney General, but he helped those of us trying to abolish the N.H. death penalty in years past, unpopular in some political circles as that is.

In him, we have courage and intelligence, and a fantastic ability to communicate well.

Someday, perhaps.  In the meantime, we have other great Democratic leaders.

[I'm a former has-been House member and State Senator, but I keep "Rep." on my ID name for easy reference of previous posts.]
