A Lecture on Support from a Stealth McCain Supporter

by: Dean Barker

Tue Sep 16, 2008 at 21:34:32 PM EDT

Choosing a candidate is an individual decision, Howard said, and she hopes every voter takes the time to think and pick their candidate based on their merits. "I think everybody should take the time to seriously decide, look at the issues," she said. "People take lots of time when purchasing a vehicle and this is definitely as important as buying a vehicle. They should take as much time when deciding their candidate."
That's from Rep. Doreen Howard, who waited until just after winning her Democratic primary to announce publicly her support for John McCain and Sarah Palin.  I'm sure the Democrats who voted for her would not have been interested in that fact at all while they were taking their time and making their decision.

If you're not allowed to look under the hood, how are you supposed to know if it's a lemon?
