I think the NHDP staff did a great job on this! (4.00 / 1)
Hats off to Derek Richer and Mike Brunelle.

2012 starts today.

The Barroom Circle of Life (0.00 / 0)
According to Mayor Guinta's Public Schedule, last night Frank was busy ribbon-cutting at a new bar.  Hope somebody got pictures - I'd definitely splice it in!

Guinta's Big Crackdown (0.00 / 0)
Must be coincidental. Very publicly strutting over a local police crackdown on drugs, why, there's Mayor Guinta! Imagine that.

The police, on WGOP channel 9 camera (how did they find out before hand?) trying to justify the raids to the neighbors, who looked pretty angry at them.
It sure looked like a political stunt for a guy who needs it.

Guinta running for congress? Seriously?

No'm Sayn?

It's Mara's crackdown, Burt. (0.00 / 0)
Police Chief Dave Mara has reinvigorated the anti-gang and anti-narcotics units of the Manchester Police Department, and I, for one, am glad he has done so.

Manchester has a serious problem with cocaine trafficking and a festering gang situation that was left unaddressed by the previous police chief. Mara is simply doing what should have been done five years ago. He's being proactive, not acting like a lump waiting for a pension.

If Frank wants to show up at the scene, so be it. Plenty of mayors of all political persuasions do that. My concern is that the MPD be allowed to do its job without this being turned into a political football.

America was not built on fear. America was built on courage, on imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand. -Harry Truman

Tell it to the Mayor (0.00 / 0)
It should not be a political football!

Promises Made, Promises Broken (0.00 / 0)
FranK Guinta made three promises to the people of Manchester in he his campaign for mayor in 2005:

1. Improve schools
2. Lower taxes
3. Lower crime rate

Four years later Manchester is tattered by Frank's inability to lead, we have:

1. Schools worse off
2. Highter taxes
3. Increased violent crime

Frank Guinta? Seriously?

2012 starts today.
