It's raining...soon it will be pouring

When Hodes, Shea-Porter, and Lynch lose big in Manchester this November you can thank Mike Lopez, Russ Ouellette, Patrick Arnold, Joyce Craig, Dan O'Neil and the rest of the merry band of democrats on the aldermanic board and school committee that shut down MCTV. Go ahead and thank them when Ted Gatsas, Will Infantine, and Joe Levasseur are running the 3 access TV channels in Manchester and putting whatever and whoever they wish on the air!
Why don't you watch the meetings while you still can online at www.nhmanchtv.org. Watch the video on-demand of the school committee of 3/8/10 and the joint meeting of 3/10/10. If you live in Manchester watch them on TV. Watch as the merry band of democrats treat Kathy Sullivan's sister like a peice of garbage and shut down the only media that provides true transparency in government in Manchester.

Broken Promises By Gatsas (0.00 / 0)
The vote by the school board was after Gatsas made the representation that the MCTV staff would not lose their jobs.

Two days later he reneged on that promise, claiming he only said they wouldn't be laid off, and therefore they could be assigned elsewhere. That is not true. He had a back and forth at the school board meeting with Joe Briggs, who doesn't like MCTV. Briggs specifically said he didn't know if the same staff should stay at MCTV. In response, Gatsas said they will keep their jobs. It doesn't get clearer than that.

Gatsas is now flailing away at Mike Roche, the chairman of the advisory board at MCTV, and me, claiming in the UL that we were making up allegations that Gatsas is trying to get rid of Dr. Sullivan as executive director.  I never understand elected officials who don't tell the truth. Gatsas knows he is trying to get rid of her, we know he is trying to get rid of her, the boards know he is trying to get rid of her, why bother fibbing about it? It is no secret that he's been trying to force her out since he was elected mayor. Maybe he is unhappy with the camera angle at his swearing in, or maybe he promised the Republicans he got to run for office, most of whom lost, that he would give them a new toy to play with - Manchester's education and government televsion. I guess he would prefer to keep that promise, rather than the one he made to the school board.
