Consequences of Marriage Equality

A member of Granite State Progress just sent me this hilarious - yet very accurate - graph about the consequences of gay marriage. I hadn't seen it before, but it looks like it first popped up at Mother Jones.

Which reminds me - were where you all be on June 3rd? Y'know, the day when NH decides whether to stand for marriage equality.

Raise a Sign for Equality on June 3rd

Per Rep. Jim Splaine, the House and Senate will take up HB73 next Wednesday, June 3rd.

NH Freedom to Marry and other groups and individuals in favor of equality (including, proudly, Granite State Progress) are meeting on the State House Plaza that morning to support our supporters and rally for the freedom to marry.

This will be a time to thank the legislators who have taken a stand for all New Hampshire families by supporting individual liberties and ensuring religious freedoms, and to ask them to vote yes on HB 73.

Rally for Marriage Equality
June 3, 2009 at 9am
State House Plaza

We're looking for a hard count of expected participants. RSVP here.
