First, keen eyes at NH Prez Watch noticed how EVale's nice writing caught the eye of the Hill Staffers, who proceeded to reuse the verbage word for word. Now, Obama is caught red-handed by the MSM for stealing Edwards' lines, and even his jokes.
This isn't the first time but I'm glad Hillary's knucklehead campaign staff got caught so blatantly plagarizing from John Edwards:
NH Prez Watch reports today:
The other day Hillary Clinton's campaign released information about their election night plans. The release sounded similar to something we've read before. The Clinton release is eerily similar to the release the Edwards campaign sent out on December 13th. It appears that the Clinton campaign copied and pasted the language from the Edwards election, right down to the punctuation. Specifically they copied the billing and credentialing language.
Edwards release: Billing - The campaign will coordinate and arrange for technical installation and the costs will be billed back to your organization. The total costs will vary depending on the needs you are requesting and the number of outlets that participate. Approximate costs will be given to you as soon as details are worked out.
Clinton's release: The campaign will coordinate and arrange for technical installation and the costs will be billed back to your organization. The total costs will vary depending on the needs you are requesting and the number of outlets that participate. Approximate costs will be given to you as soon as details are finalized.
Edwards release: TOTAL number of credentials requested (This includes ALL people from your outlet who will be attending. Note - we will make every effort to accommodate the number requested but cannot guarantee all credentials until details are finalized. Credentials will be picked up on-site at the credentialing table; time will be provided when finalized):
Clinton's release/website: This number includes ALL people from your outlet who will be attending. Please note - we will make every effort to accommodate the number requested but cannot guarantee all credentials until details are finalized. Credentials will be picked up on-site at the credentialing table; time will be provided when finalized.
Pathetic, really. When she has all the resources available to her. Lazy too.
OffTheBus is running this headline: "Latest Poll Power Ranking, Edwards on Top Again."
Today, Iowa Independent releases its second round of Democratic Power Rankings, seeking again to answer the question, "If the caucuses were held tonight, what would be the results?" Our hope is that although our methodology is notably unscientific, the list below will provide our readers one more point of reference while reading horse-race stories from day to day.
John Edwards' Team launched a Granite State specific website: http://johnedwards.c.... It's got a listing of local staff & their offices, photos and video from NH events, and listing of upcoming events.
I wasn't sure how to edit someone else's event, but I wanted to add that Elizabeth Edwards will be a guest speaker at the Global Days for Darfur event on Monday, April 30th. It starts at 6:00pm.
Did anyone else catch NPR's This American Life this weekend or on-line. I came in half way through, during a story on Ray Buckeley et al. Just wondering what you all thought.
First, Second, or Third in the Nation:
The Importance of New Hampshire and the Juggling of the Primary Schedule
Wednesday April 11, at 7 p.m. This talk examines New Hampshire's role in the presidential nomination process, the impact of frontloading, and the potential impact of the new Democratic primary schedule for 2008.
(I watched the first episode and enjoyed it much. If Air America had hired Arnie instead of Rhodes, they'd be in the black, IMHO. - promoted by Mike)
I just found this from a link on Seacoast Online:
"Former Democratic political candidate and media personality Arnie Arnesen is hosting the New Hampshire-based political talk show Political Chowder. The Sunday talk show premiers on Sunday and airs from 11 a.m. to noon on MyTV New England, otherwise known as WZMY-TV Derry. The show will also be available on some public access channels and via the Internet through podcast or Google video."
She's already got a few folks lined up, both parties.
I'm new at all this blogosphere stuff, but need someplace to go with my rant this morning. I just read on the WMUR website that four more debates have been set (2 in October 2007, 2 for January 2008), and ALL will be held in Manchester. Add to that the two debates this April at Saint Anselm College, and that brings the total to six debates all in the same general place.
