"Plenty of Free Media"

Landrigan explains Carol's rise in the polls:
Shea-Porter has gotten plenty of free media following a trip to the Middle East and getting through the US House several spending projects for the district.
Yeah, that daily, month-long pounding she took over a phony scandal from the Union Leader, with an occasional assist from the Telegraph and WMUR, was sure plenty of free media!

I swear I don't know how Democrats manage to make any footholds in this state given the prevailing press paradigm.

yeah (4.00 / 3)
given how the press in CD-1 fawns over CSP, it's really no wonder she's doing so well.

Jumpin Jeebus. (4.00 / 1)
The Foster's Daily Dose of Democrat Bashing has had CSP targeted for five years.  I just think that you can push that string so far, and then people began to see the behind it.

Integrity politics goes a long way - you know where you stand with Carol, and you know what to expect.  More liker her, please.

But, but... (4.00 / 3)
...Didn't Andy Smith just attribute CSP's rise in the polls to her low profile in recent months?

Sheesh. These pundits gotta start taking better notes at their secret meetings. Amateurs.

Dirt off your shoulder (4.00 / 4)
Manchester residents I've spoken with, including a few Republicans, about the media-manufactured honor roll "controversy" saw it for exactly what it was - faux news.

Looking at the UNH poll makes one wonder if the horror that was congratulating Manchester's honor roll students backfired and instead shed light on a wonderful gesture by Carol Shea-Porter, our outstanding Congresswoman.

"Free media" (4.00 / 2)
Do the knights of the press know how that particular line sounds?

"She didn't PAY us! We had to print the stories just because they were, what's the word, news! "

And the icing on the cake? (4.00 / 1)
I NEVER see media stories on CSP's house work.  That's what inpart inspired CSP week.

But Landrigan makes it sound as if he is forced to type up pork project after pork project.
