SOTD, or, Swett Campaign Losing It

by: Dean Barker

Fri Aug 06, 2010 at 12:09:04 PM EDT

From the latest strain of the one-note campaign, in part:
Blogger Acknowledges Kuster's Lobbying

"Lobbyists give money to both parties? This is shocking."
-- Dean Barker, Managing Editor of www.BlueHampshire.com, sarcastically defending Kuster's contributions to Republican state senate candidates.  www.BlueHampshire.com has endorsed Kuster and has been actively promoting her candidacy.
Well, it wouldn't be the first press release about me, but it's the one that gave me the biggest chuckle.

In other news, I took a different way home than usual an hour ago and found four new Kuster signs on lawns.  Still looking for my first Swett sign sighting.

(NB: SOTD = "Shrill of the Day," a new series I've started.)

Bad Idea, Katrina (4.00 / 1)
You may not have noticed, but this forum has value.

It may be politically convenient to bash BH, though I doubt you would if you came to a Bash or two. Have you? I don´t recall?

Blaming ´the press´is lazy and bad form. Of course, we aren´t really press, are we? We sit around in our pajamas and throw tomatoes at those that don´t pass our ideological muster, don´t we? That´s a red herring, btw. Because if you frequented this forum, you´d know that our voices are divergent. Put me and Susan in the same thread, if you are confused. Do you know who I mean? I didn´t use her handle.

Welcome to 2010. Katrina. Should you scrape by in both upcoming elections, you may want to figure out how you are going to repair this relationship.

There is no shortage of established party leaders beseeching us here to bear in mind the pending disaster from the backlash of bad blood.

Who the hell is lecturing you?

"Ill writers are usually the sharpest censors." - John Dryden

Even the press are laughing: (0.00 / 0)
This month will Katrina Swett say the word "lobbyist" more than Bill Binnie will say "jobs"?
