Foreigners for Kelly Ayotte

by: Dean Barker

Tue Oct 05, 2010 at 22:23:00 PM EDT

The US Chamber of Commerce raises lots and lots of money from foreigners but will not disclose who they are.

The US Chamber of Commerce spends lots and lots of money trashing Democrats. Including Paul Hodes.

Why is Kelly Ayotte relying on money from foreigners to win her election?

But, but, Justices Alito and Roberts (4.00 / 2)
said that President Obama was completely wrong when he said their arrogant, activist 5-4 ruling in Citizens United opened the door wide for foreign corporations to intervene in American elections!

Alito threw an on-camera hissy fit when the President said it.

This must be very disheartening for them. Perhaps they will submit their resignations to atone for their complete inability to foresee the effects of their rulings.

The law is not prospective; it is retroactive. (0.00 / 0)
If you want to specify what artificial bodies are allowed to do, you have to do it ahead of time, at the time their charters are approved.  Then, if the conditions of their charter are violated, the charters can be revoked.
Prohibitions are easy to issue.  However, prohibitions are also easy to ignore or work around.  It's impossible to specify ahead of time all the things you don't want to be done.

Foreign cash.

To elect Republicans to ease the business climate.

Deeply ironic, or a really pathetic cry for help?

Because she doesn't know how to say 'no' in any (0.00 / 0)
foreign tongue?

Ask a silly question, you get a silly answer. :)
