Basic Grammar Escapes POTUS Wannabe Pataki

by: Dean Barker

Tue Oct 05, 2010 at 22:54:23 PM EDT

C'mon George.  If you're going to take barrels of unnamed dollars from your copycat post-Citizens United shadow group and dump them into cookie cutter ads in the vain hope that prominent NH GOPers will endorse you for POTUS next cycle, at least take the time to proofread:
The is the First-in-the-Nation Primary state, George. You're gonna have to do better than that.

there's a big difference (0.00 / 0)
When Romney did it, it was a "conservative, individual responsibility" solution to the problem.  When Obama did it, it was a "socialist, Marxist communist" government takeover.

The GOP is too stupid (in denial?) to see both plans are, with some small differences, the same.

That's not it. It's not a matter of stupidity. (0.00 / 0)
It's not a matter of what is done; it's a matter of who does it.  "Personal responsibility" means that the value of an act is determined by the status (value, reputation) of the person under whose authority it occurs.

"When the President does it, it's not a crime."

Hierarchy is important because it determined the moral value of actions. If father beats so, it's good; if son beats father, it's bad.

P.S. there is no video on my page.

Pataki and his partisans are the no-see-ums of 2010. n/t (0.00 / 0)
no-see-ums are nearly invisible blood sucking midges familiar to people living near salt marshes and other moist environs

those unflattering pictures (0.00 / 0)
Where do they get those unflattering pictures of the opposition?

And I'll betcha Pataki's people didn't bother to get the rights to use the picture in this particular commercial!  (I know the American Action Network stole a picture taken at the BlueHampshire bash in June: they just took it off someone's Flickr page without the photographer's permission.)

I'm a little uneasy with the notion (0.00 / 0)
that a photograph of someone who is running for office can be kept out of the press through copyright law.
