A Blue Hampshire Endorsement

by: William Tucker

Thu Nov 17, 2011 at 14:52:54 PM EST

Today, former Cornerstone Action Executive Director Kevin Smith announced that he is running for governor.

Smith, you may remember, was responsible for the single most immoral and offensive campaign ad of 2010. This year, despite claiming to not be focused on social issues, he pressured the legislature to defund Planned Parenthood, pass parental notification and roll back marriage equality. He was "a force behind the passage of right-to-work legislation."

But politics makes strange bedfellows and, hey, Smith knows a kick-ass web site and online, activist community when he sees one. We accept his endorsement.

I wouldn't (0.00 / 0)
trust this guy as far as I could throw him.  He's another wolf in sheep's clothing, a male Kelly Ayotte who will represent the 1% of society.  He gives me the creeps.

Good Sense Bad Sense (4.00 / 2)
Of course he is right about Blue Hampshire.

But the guy clearly has no idea about what the Republican establishment will do to him.

No'm Sayn?

He has no idea (4.00 / 2)
what the voters will do to him. He may be Mr. Somebody in Nashchester, but he's Mr. Nobody to the rest of the state.

Austerity is another word for deprivation and deprivation is another (0.00 / 0)
word for abuse. Deprivation of rights is another way of saying "punishment" and punishment is only legal when it's applied, after due process and a proven deserving criminal act. When punishment is meted out or individuals are deprived of their rights under any other condition, it's abusive.
So, the proponents of austerity are little more than abusers on a grand scale. Instead of abusing just kith and kin, they're looking to abuse whole states and the nation.
