Sununu's Petty Political Attacks

by: PaulHodes

Thu Aug 26, 2010 at 17:35:30 PM EDT

( - promoted by Dean Barker)

Mr. Sununu's petulant comments are partisan politics at its worst. Instead of engaging in a thoughtful conversation or offering any ideas for putting New Hampshire back to work, Mr. Sununu resorted to petty political attacks and childish name-calling. He showed disrespect to the Office of the Presidency.
PaulHodes :: Sununu's Petty Political Attacks
For someone who served in the White House, he should know better. His name calling isn't going to bring a single job to New Hampshire and is not constructive to getting our economy back on track. He should apologize to the President, the Vice President and the people of New Hampshire for his embarrassing, unnecessary comments.

An email from a national reporter after Sununu's call: (0.00 / 0)
An editor came over during the call to see if I was watching Comedy Central at my desk. I burst out laughing. I mean, I hadn't dealt with him foaming at the mouth in a while. Just wow.

It has been a bad couple of weeks for the NHGOP.

2012 starts today.

Statement from NHDP Chair on John H. Sununu's Childish Comments (4.00 / 1)

Concord - Today, New Hampshire Democratic Party Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement in response to NHGOP Chair John H. Sununu's disgraceful and childish comments about President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden:

"If anyone needs to grow-up and start acting like a man it's John H Sununu.  His outrageous comments today regarding the president and vice president are both hypocritical and immature.

"Over the past year and a half, John Sununu has been running around New Hampshire throwing temper tantrums and claiming that our state and country have been ruined.  His tirades have fallen on deaf ears, and fly in the face of the facts. The reality is that responsible Democratic policies are helping to pull our economy out of the ditch it was driven into after eight years of failed Republican leadership in Washington.

"The progress made in the last 18 months stands in stark contrast to Sununu's time as Chief of Staff to former President George H. W. Bush.  During his tenure in the White House, Sununu oversaw disastrous policies that led to massive tax increases and the crashing of New Hampshire's banking industry and housing market.

"And Sununu's time as governor was no better.  Under his watch, spending increased by 22% per biennium, taxes went through the roof, three budgets were left in deficit, and our retirement and education systems were underfunded.

"John Sununu should be ashamed of his behavior this afternoon.  Unfortunately, these child-like outbursts  from him have become increasingly common."

2012 starts today.

Hurling rude words. (0.00 / 0)
Hurling rude words at your political opponents seem like a cowardly way to contest the issues.  But, it does get the attention of the press.  Just like it's hard to ignore a wailing infant on a bus.  One has to resist the temptation to hurl them.

So grumpy (4.00 / 2)
Sununu to world: Get off my lawn!
