The Tea Party is coming

by: PaulHodes

( - promoted by Jennifer Daler)

The Tea Party is coming to town. Yesterday, Sarah Palin--Kelly Ayotte's biggest supporter--kicked off the Tea Party Express' national tour.

The Tea Party's final stop on their tour will be on the steps of our state house in Concord the night before the election.

Sarah Palin, Karl Rove, Glenn Beck and their friends on the Tea Party Express are working hard on Kelly Ayotte's behalf.  Ayotte proudly accepted Palin's endorsement and groups like Karl Rove's American Crossroads and the Glenn Beck-backed Chamber of Commerce have spent millions of dollars to boost her campaign

PaulHodes :: The Tea Party is coming
Kelly Ayotte is in the pocket of all of those right-wing special interests and the radical ideology they represent. Like Sarah Palin, her political mentor, Ayotte is anti-choice--she doesn't believe women should have control over their own bodies and wants to take us back to a time when women couldn't make decisions about their own health.

Palin and Ayotte are two of a kind. They're both far-right extremists fighting for right-wing special interests, and they both want to take this country backwards, back to the failed policies that drove our country in this ditch to begin with.

I don't need to tell you that we can't afford to go back. We can't afford to let people like Sarah Palin and Kelly Ayotte run this country back into the ditch we've been working so hard to get out of. We have to keep moving forward, fighting for our small businesses and our middle-class families, fighting to protect our rights and freedoms, particularly a woman's right to choose.

Ayotte may count Sarah Palin and the Tea Party in her corner, but I have all of you--the hard-working people of New Hampshire. And while the right is rallying with their bussed-in supporters, we'll be making phone calls, knocking on doors and doing the kind of grassroots political organizing that wins elections here in the Granite State.

Kelly Ayotte (4.00 / 1)
is bad for NH and bad for America.  She's a liar, a quitter, a flip-flopper, and an opportunist in the Sarah Palin mold.  She demands zero respect.

Let's Have Our Own Event! (4.00 / 3)
The Tea Party event in Concord is sure to receive national news attention as it is the last Tea Party event before the election.

Why not have a counter event made up of progressives backing the President and the Democratic Party.  We should be able to put together a good loud group with some great signs.

We need to be heard.  We can't let the Tea Party Republicans win.

if Palin shows up... (0.00 / 0)
If Sarah Palin shows up it will be her first visit since the 2008 General Election.

The other Presidential hopefuls have been getting to know the local Republicans and have even been dropping $1000 checks on the State Senate and Executive Council campaigns.  But not Sarah.  She didn't even come here for Ayotte's endorsement: even though both Palin & Ayotte are Washington Outsiders, Ayotte had to journey to DC to kiss Her Palinosity's ring.

Palin's Visit Should be The Deciding Factor (4.00 / 2)
To Make Paul Hodes NH's own Come Back Kid!!!
We should invite Bubba to join our counter viz!!!

for transparency sake ~I represent Union print shops

Come Back Kid? (0.00 / 0)
I refuse to believe the biased polling we've seen so far.  I truly believe that Congressman Hodes is and has always had the lead among NH voters and that he will win on November 2.  NH voters are too smart to vote for the tea bagger Kelly Ayotte and the far right hacks who support her.  Go Paul!

NH needs to duck for cover (0.00 / 0)
I think its amazing this is even making the news because I am sick of hearing it. At some point the American populous will realize just how ridiculous the tea party movement really is. Us free thinkers in the world will unite to squash a movement that should have never started. Sarah Palin and the rest of the tea party express should just go home because this will be the final straw in making NH residents realize that Paul Hodes is the candidate for NH and that Kayotte belongs as a prosecutor not controlling NH money and interests in Washington!

Promises, promises. Palin on the road for two weeks (0.00 / 0)
and getting somewhere on time?  Right.

A Democratic rally will be fun, but don't hold your breath waiting for Palin to show.  Her show only goes on if there's enough dough.

We Need to Fight Back (0.00 / 0)
I think that we are missing the point here.

I don't care if Palin comes or not, this is going to be a major media event the night before the election.  We need to counter attack with our own event or else this gives these people momentium going into the election.

I don't see how Paul can survive this kind of support for the Tea Party canidates.  By having our own event, we help Paul, Carol, Annie and the entire party!
