by: Chaz Proulx

Sun Oct 24, 2010 at 09:32:56 AM EDT

Monday's debate really is the BIG ONE! It's live and NH voters really pay attention.

When: Monday from 4 to 7 pm. (the debate starts at 7)

Where: NH Institute of Politics (entrance). Corner of Rockland Ave. and St. Anselm Drive.

What: A massive showing. Signs, and totems will be provided, but make your own too!

Let's send a huge message and give Carol the send off she deserves!

Soap? (0.00 / 0)
How about bars of soap, or posters of bars of soap, with the words: Come Clean Frank!

Every picture tells a story.

No'm Sayn?

NHDP HQ is across the street - so come early and phone bank!!!

Memories from CSP Debate Visibility (4.00 / 2)
As I sit here with a voice hoarse from chanting, "Hey Frank, what's in the bank?" for 2 1/2 hours, am recalling the highlight show:

* Getting called "Che Guevara" by a middle-aged woman with curly gray hair and Giunta sign.  I found that very funny.  Was going to respond, "Actually, Laura Clawson thinks I'm a 'moderate'," but couldn't fit that to a good rhyme.

* Hearing Phil the banjo player sing out CSP chants.  Every good rally needs a banjo.

* Watching 100 Firefighters for CSP march in and take charge.  These guys know how to kick ass.

* Hearing the Giunta supporting standing next to me yell "Collect your dogies" over and over again. I politely asked him what the hell he was talking about, and he informed me that a union man would know what he meant.  For his sake, it's a good thing the firefighters didn't know what he was saying either, or they would have eaten his skull.

* Observing Giunta supporters sing "Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye".  (When they were finished, I thanked them for their tribute to Judd Gregg's career.)

* Listening to another Giunta volunteer try to insert George Soros' name into every anti-CSP chant. As Carol has never taken a time from Soros, I was tempted to lean over and ask him why he didn't just use the word "Jews".

* Hanging out with Pat Morris, perhaps the only active campaign vet from McCarthy '68 and definitely the coolest woman in the history of Ward 10. (We worked together on C/G '96.)

So that's that. . . .
